It could be paradise.It could be Hell.It could be everything you’ve ever wanted.It could be your worst nightmare.You won’t know until you come closer.Don’t be afraid.Be afraid.

How many have ventured over my threshold.I’m not telling.You’ll have to find out for yourself, if you dare.Does anyone get out?If you want to know, come a little closer.

I have been the keeper of this place for a very long time.I have seen many like you before.I let everyone pass.What you make of the world beyond me is your concern, not mine.I did not create what I provide entry to.I am merely the gatekeeper.

I will let you in to see the secrets at my back.Come closer.That’s it.Now open the door and step through.I will not protect you.I will allow you to return to the world you came from, if you are able.

Ah yes, you’re in, I see that now.You see what’s here.You see it all.It’s not what you thought it would be.It’s everything you imagined.Do you want to leave?Do you want to stay?It’s your choice, maybe.

Wait a minute.I think I hear you.You sound happy, or sad.It’s hard to tell which.It’s so dark, isn’t it?

You should go now.There are others who want to come through.In and out, that’s all I do.I can let you out, perhaps.

You sound far away now.Are you staying?I have to let the others through.

I’m alone once more.Resting.
